  • Read two books: Robert Jervis's American Foreign Policy in a New Era and Walter Russell Mead's Special Providence: American Foreign Policy and How it Changed the World. Students are expected to follow the news on foreign policy by reading online The New York Times and/or The Washington Post

  • Exams: There will be a midterm and a final exam

Grading

  • This course is graded pass-fail. To pass, you must take the mid term and the final. You must answer at least 70% of the final exam questions and at least 70% the mid term questions correctly.
