Please Note: The sequence of lectures is subject to
change and modification. The readings are also subject to change.
In addition, one or two short articles will be assigned each week
at the selected readings for the week
page. A class reader is also assigned and will be available on Tuesday,
January 29, at Copy Central on Bancroft Avenue above Telegraph.
FINAL EXAM: The final
exam will be held on Thursday, May 23, from 5-8 p.m., in Room 230
Hearst Gymnasium; final exam group 17.

Hitchens, who will speak on the topic "Internationalism
