Programs/ |
BVHPCA has been working with DOE and the City of San Francisco to develop a new "Alternative Community Energy" (ACE) project. The goal of the ACE project is to train and employ Bayview Hunters Point residents in the installation of alternative energy systems. As a result of ACE, 54 solar water heaters and 6 solar panels are being installed in Bayview. BVHPCA's also runs its Windows Project to provide outreach and education to Bayview residents about pollution issues surrounding the Hunters Point shipyard. |
