Program services include community level pilot projects, capacity building workshops on water quality, policy reports, and the Watershed to Watertap email activist network. The Preventing Harm program seeks to educate parents, care providers, and health practitioners about the links between chemical use/exposure and developmental disabilities in children. The goal of the project is to mobilize these constituencies to take action in their homes, schools, workplaces and in society at large to reduce the use of these toxins, to prevent health threatening exposures and to advance the precautionary principle.
