Mission

The Center for Third World Organizing (CTWO, pronounced "C2") is a racial justice organization dedicated to building a social justice movement led by people of color. CTWO links communities of color with organizing skills, political education, and visions of a just society, seeking to galvanize public support for policies that both advance racial justice and promote equity in the arenas of gender, economics, and sexuality. The Center provides training and resources to promote and sustain political analysis, policy development, and collective action in communities of color across the U.S. |

Programs/ |
Program areas relevant to environmental justice include ex-prisoner community re-entry as an issue of community health and sustainability, and a program on transportation for healthy communities (providing health care, food, and recreation). Training and campaign consultation are also provided to environmental justice organizations. |
