Pesticide Education Center works to educate workers and the public about the hazards of pesticides to human health and the environment, providing critical information on health effects and safer alternative pest control methods to the public. PEC's mission is to educate consumers to make more informed choices to protect themselves, their families, their pets, their neighbors, and the environment from toxic pesticides |

The center produces videos, books and other educational materials, including videos on the dangers of pesticides for farm workers as well as texts covering: home protection from toxics, children and pesticides, occupational health and safety, and summary data on toxic epidemiology. The group also works with the public to formulate and present testimony on pesticide use for citizen campaigns. |
