Abstract: The Islami Jami'at-i Tulaba, one of Pakistan's oldest and most influential student movements, has been at the forefront of Islamic revivalism in the country. Founded in Dec 1947, the movement was greatly influenced by the Muslim Brotherhood of Egypt. The organization contributes to the socialization of its young members and serves as a training ground for Pakistan's future leaders. During the course of Pakistan's modern history, the movement was actively involved in matters of national significance.
