Sir Brian Urquhart: Institute of International Studies, UC Berkeley

From March 8 through March 12, 1999, Sir Brian Urquhart, former Under-Secretary-General of the United Nations, visited the Institute of International Studies at UC Berkeley. For one hour each day during his stay he answered questions via e-mail from high school students at Marin Academy in San Rafael, from UC Berkeley undergraduates who are members of the Model UN Program, and from law students at Boalt Hall School of Law at UC Berkeley. Prior to submitting questions, the students visited the Changing United Nations website created by the Institute.
