Welcome to a Conversation with History. I'm Harry Kreisler of the Institute of International Studies. Our distinguished guest is Maire MacEntee. Maire's work spans the last four decades, and she is considered one the significant Irish scholars and poets of our time. She has published several volumes of poetry and has edited a substantial body of work from Classical Irish and is an authority on traditional Bardic poetry. She was also a member of the Irish bar and was a member of the Irish diplomatic service.
