Orville Schell is Professor and Dean of Berkeley's Graduate School of Journalism. He has writen widely about Asia for the New Yorker and other magazines. He is author of numerous books on China, the meat industry, and other topics. Professor Schell received his M.A. in Chinese history from U.C. Berkeley.
