Introduction

The e-mail question and answer sessions on the following pages took place on May 14, 1999, between students in Doug Woodbrown's American History class at Marin Academic High School in San Rafael. California, and in Terri Rayburn's American History class at Wallenberg Academic High School in San Francisco. Daniel Ellsberg, a strategic analyst and a leading figure in the Anti-Vietnam War movement was in his office in Washington with Harry Kreisler.
